desktop images not a moment too soon04/07/2007 My favorite thing to do when I'm bored and have extra time to surf on the internet is to download new desktop images to decorate my screen. It has really become an obsession of sorts, as I regularly will spend hours looking for varied desktop images to improve my computer's appearance and my own moods. Sometimes I want a little fluffy teddy bear, sometimes a great picture of an epic landscape, something lush and exotic to take my mind off of the surroundings in which I am currently located. Sometimes I even want something extremely synthetic and computer generated. And then there are other times when I want to see a pretty girl smiling back at me from the screen of my computer. The point is that, whatever my mood is, there are desktop images that are likely to satisfy it quite well. Are you ready to find the solutions you have been searching for? Of course, there are some sites that try to get you to pay for desktop images, but this is just silly, because there are plenty of free pictures for your desktop all over the internet. You can even make desktop images out of your own photos, so that you will be able to see friends and loved ones in the background of your computer screen at all times of day and night if you so desire. Really, anything that you can imagine, you can probably find and make into desktop wallpaper to provide a neat and decorative, or artistic touch to your computing experience after that step. My personal favorite desktop images are usually those that have to do with a show that I watched when I was a kid. Often, these desktop images come packaged as part as a complete desktop theme, with sounds, icons, and of course many different pictures to chose from. This will allow you to decorate your whole computer as if it were that show, so that anyone who happens to chance by and see your screen will instantly know what a great fan that you are. The other nice thing about using desktop themes is that it makes everything fit together so well. Rather than having your mouse pointer look one way, your background desktop images look another way, and your event sounds have a totally different feel, you can easily set it up so that everything fits together. This not only lets you be nostalgic, but really improves the look and feel of your computer as well it is important to note that.
